encouraging words wednesday…

yesterday, i was not joyous. i did not rejoice in His day. i did not do well with what i was given. but today is a new day. because i’m a  jesus girl, i know that i am forgiven – i have only to ask. the Lord doesn’t shake his head in despair over my repeated mistakes. He doesn’t decide that i’m a lost cause. He doesn’t hold over my head my sins of yesterday.

 the faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.

~lamentations 3:22-23

i am forgiven – it can’t be said enough. i am loved. always. just as much today as i was yesterday and as i will be tomorrow. how awesome and awe inspiring is that??

know today that you, too are loved – yesterday, today and tomorrow. and tell someone else cuz hearing it never gets old ;-)
