reading list & a sneak peek!

hubby got me a kindle for christmas and it’s the best.present.EVER!! i’m a big reader and always have been – my joy of reading was inspired by my daddy. he always had a book in hand. he and i took regular trips to the library every week or so, checking out at least three books at a time. as a stay-at-home, work-at-home mama, i never know when i’ll have an opportunity to delve into a book so my kindle solves that problem nicely – thousands of books waiting to be wirelessly delivered into my hot little hands at any time, day or night! (that makes me smile!)

in keeping with my goal to live intentionally for Him, my reading list has gotten a bit more specific and i thought i’d share a few of my choices with you:

Made to Crave” by lysa terkeurst. lysa is having regular web casts for those reading the book – very cool!

“Made to Crave is the missing link between a woman’s desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make that happen.”

One Thousand Gifts” by ann voskamp. this is the current read at the (in)courage bloom online bookclub – the reading schedule is one chapter a week

“It invites you to wake up to God's everyday blessings, and discover, as Ann did, that in giving thanks for the life you already have, you find the life you've always wanted.”

The Me Project” by kathi lipp. this will probably be my first read as it’s on it’s way to me and i’ll be participating in the blog tour (my very first – i’m excited!)

"The Me Project provides women with fun and creative ways to bring back the sense of purpose and vitality that comes with living out the plans and dreams God has planted in their hearts.”

and here’s the sneak peek photo i promised – the new copper charms i’m working on. coppercharm
they’re just itty bitty, meant to be mixed and matched with some more surprises i have coming! i'm trying to decide which type of chain would work best with these charms.....

what kind of chain would you like to see on this charm? and what about a stone? share your thoughts with me......!!
