Before I became a mom, I didn't give much thought to the state of our world. Unless it effected me directly, I paid no attention. Selfish, I know. Now..........well, it's a whole new ballgame. Tomorrow is a big day for me for a few reasons. The first African-American president takes office. And my son and I take our first visit to his new preschool. The second may not seem like such a big deal to you.....and you may not be that impressed by the first, either. That's your choice. And we all have a choice. That's pretty cool.
