hey there! SERIOUSLY late in posting this today but better late than never, right? but before i share some bloggy love, just wanted to let you in on a few things goin on over here today…..

hubby just came back from the “iron sharpens iron” conference for men. didn’t have a whole lot of time to talk to him about it but did find out that he loved it and got a lot out of it. share this with your hubbies, girls! it’s national so you should be able to find one near you.

and tonight, we’re checkin out a SiLOam concert at church. we had a sneak preview when they led worship this past sunday – seriously talented! i’m looking forward to hearing them do their thing! if you happen to be in the area, come join us at Friendship Baptist Church on Torrington Rd. in Litchfield, CT, 7pm.

i’m continuing to expand my horizons and spread some bloggy love!

gaby at life in a glass house is a woman after my own heart. there appear to be many things we have in common: having to explain the fact that we don’t look like our children, ongoing arguments with inanimate objects and a love for the Lord!

and there’s rachel at no. 17 cherry tree lane. i seriously want to sit down with a cuppa coffee and hang out with this chick. she just looks like so much fun! and rachel, i’ll gladly share my multiple “mother of the year” awards with you!

lastly is ruthanne from eclectic whatnot. she’s about as real as real gets. i mean, what’s not to love about a woman who posts recipes like this? and her sense of humor is pretty awesome…

just so you know, i do realize that most (if not all) of these blogs i mention certainly don’t need my comments to feel the love. they have more followers than i do! and, no, i’m not receiving any kind of compensation for these posts. i don’t think they know i’ve written these posts. i’m kind of a stalker that way ;-) hmmm, maybe i should tell them…..anyway, i have a friend who reads my blog (hi, kris!) but aside from mine, her reading list is pretty small. i’m also broadening her horizons *grin*

i've been spending some time searching out new, crafty blogs (new to me, not necessarily brand new, ya know?) i'm really happy that i've done so because i've 'met' some really cool people. i sometimes have a tendency to keep to myself so i'm setting a goal to engage with at least 3 new blogs a week. and, yup, you guessed it! you're gonna keep me accountable with this series ;-)

first up is april at funky vintage kitchen blog. i love the series she's doing on strengthening her marriage (such a fabulous inspiration to work on my own because you can always make it better, right!!) and she's also sponsoring a giveaway which is open at least through tomorrow (so hurry over!)

danielle over at take heart has some beautiful love stories goin on over there. you also might notice somebody's ad button over there........hmmm, wonder who?? keep her on your reading list cuz she's gonna have another huge giveway just like this one (sorry, this one just ended!)
